GoldsboroGeeks.com Minecraft Server

I have rented a Minecraft server!!  Let me know if you would like to play on it.  It is going to be a 100% legit server.  There will be no mods, but there will be a whitelist.  The goal will be to destroy the ender dragon and beat the game.  After the game is beaten I will turn on creative mode for everyone.  Let me know if you want in.

T.M.N.T.S.O.N.G.

This is a great music video.  I love .  He makes some of my favorite videos on the webs.  Notice that once the music video part starts, it is all one long take with no cuts.

GoldsboroGeeks Minecraft Server

I'm looking in to setting up a minecraft server for the Goldsboro Geeks.  Contact Medus (see below) or leave a comment if you would be interested in paying a small monthly fee to play on a good server with good bandwidth.  I'm thinking it will be around a buck a month per player.  Who ever will be an admin for the server can play for free but will be in charge of helping set up events and plugins and stuff.  Please let me know if you would be interested.  Since most folks that read this page are in the Goldsboro area, we can have get-togethers and talk about plans for the server.   Also if you have any suggestions on which minecraft hosting service to use let me know

Hunger Games - A Quickie Movie Review

Saw The Hunger Games. I feel like the movie was good, and of the parts of the book that they left in, they did really well.  The actors did a really good job.  I especially like Stanley Tucci's character Caesar Flickerman.  A lot of the internal conflict that you get to see in the book is left out, but I feel like they did a good job with what they did leave in.  I think it is one of those situations where it's like "Enjoy the movie? Would you like to know more? Read the book."

I think the movie might be a little hard to follow if you haven't read the book.  I think they tried to cram a lot of story in a short movie.

Worth seeing though.

Also, if you like the concept of teens forced to fight to the death and have a little stronger stomach for violence, check out Battle Royale.

Facebook needs a spoiler tag

Facebook needs a way to tag a post with "This status contains spoilers". It has become a desturbing trend to post plot twists or surprising moments from movies or TV shows as status updates. I am then forced to see these status updates when I pop on Facebook to see what the current trend is in Slactivism, or read and disagree with half of my friends and families political posts.
I have a small child and don't get to watch a lot of mature rated shows when they originally air.  So I like a lot of people record or watch online the next day or two after it comes out. I don't want to know that character B dies or character C was dead the whole time.

Until Facebook puts a spoiler tag, PLEASE DON'T POST SPOILERS.
